1. Access Data and Technical Processing
You can use our app without providing personal information. Whenever you access our app, technical information is automatically collected and processed by third-party providers specified in this privacy policy. This includes technical data such as the operating system, crash reports, or the date and time of access. However, no IP addresses or similar personal information are stored.
This data is used exclusively to ensure the secure operation and improvement of our app (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Data is only stored for as long as it is necessary for the stated purposes.
2. Tracking and Analysis
2.1 Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC, to analyze and evaluate the use of our app. Google Analytics uses anonymized data to understand usage patterns in our app.
The processing is based on your explicit consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), which you can provide during your first use of the app. You can revoke your consent at any time in the app settings.

2.2 Firebase Crashlytics
To analyze and resolve errors, we use Firebase Crashlytics, a service provided by Google LLC. Firebase Crashlytics collects anonymized data about crashes and performance issues in the app. This data helps us quickly identify and fix technical problems.
The processing is also based solely on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), which you can adjust in the app settings at any time.
2.3 Sentry
We use Sentry (www.sentry.io) to improve the technical stability of the app and backend by monitoring system stability and identifying code errors. Sentry is solely used for these purposes and does not evaluate data for advertising purposes. User data, such as device information or error timestamps, is collected anonymously, not used personally, and subsequently deleted. 3. Location Data
The app processes user location data, but only with your explicit consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). Location data is used to optimize app functionalities, such as displaying nearby kite and windsurfing spots.
Use of Google Maps
We also use Google Maps to provide geographic information within the app. If you enable location sharing, your location will be transmitted to Google Maps to provide relevant information and functionalities such as spot maps or route planning. Location data is temporarily transmitted to our backend to process search queries. It is not stored or used for other purposes. You can revoke your consent to the processing of location data at any time in the app settings.
5. No Use of Cookies
Our app does not use cookies or similar technologies to store information on your device.
6. SSL Encryption
Our app uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. When SSL encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

As a user of the app, you have the following rights:
